Alex's Lemonade

A couple of weeks ago, I got an invitation to my college roommate's son's first birthday. Normally, that would not be worthy of a blog post, but there was something in the card I was not expecting.

Time Management

Over the past 6 months or so, I have had a revelation about time management. In the past, I thought it was all about being organized and careful planning. While these things are important, I no longer believe they are the answer.

Not an Emergency

I generally do not make New Year's resolutions (especially 2 weeks into the New Year :), but a passage I recently read really resinated with me, so I am making it my goal for the New Year.

Favorite Blogs of 2007

While I did not set out to do it purposely, through out 2007 my blog reading habits have been changing quite a bit. I have been moving away from the geeky programming type blogs and more towards blogs about life, business, and productivity.

Amazon Prime

amazonprime Much to the chagrin of my wife, after the Emily was born I signed up for Amazon Prime. For $79/year Amazon will ship just about everything to you second day and will overnight items for around $3.99 (although some items like books are usually $1.99). Introductions

Scott Watermasysk OK, some of you maybe thinking, hey don't you already have a blog? Well, yes I do and thanks for noticing. :)

I have been blogging on ScottWater.com for nearly 5 years and during that time I have learned a lot and even more has changed. I felt it was time to move on start fresh. This of course means leaving behind a nice Google Rank and quite a few posts. I have been thinking about doing this for quite a while and even started something similar for a little a year or so ago. You get very few chances in life to start something over. For me, it was time.
